Terms and Condition

RESERVATION PROCEDURE

  1. Prior reservation is required as space is limited.
  2. Wedding Couple should fill out the Booking Request Form and e-mail to Chic-Events.
  3. No booking is confirmed until we send written confirmation to Wedding Couple.
  4. Wedding location use is for 3 hours max (unless otherwise stated)
  5. Customized Wedding Packages are available upon request.

PAYMENT POLICY

  1. A non-refundable deposit of US$350.00 is required to secure your wedding date and it will be applied to final bill.
  2. 90 days from date of this agreement: 75% of total Fees should be made (payment plan is available).
  3. One week before the wedding event: Remainder of Fees to be paid (25% total fees)
  4. Additional purchases will be invoiced at the time of order. If ordered after your final payment, they must be paid prior to delivery.
  5. 7% service charge will be added to your final bill.
  6. Once you have made your deposit, you automatically accept the term and conditions.
  7. Prices are quoted in US dollars and are subject to change.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. In the event of a cancellation all payments made to date are non-refundable.
  2. No Show is non-refundable
  3. Contract cancellation must be made in writing this however is not guaranteed based on date of cancellation.
  4. All cancellations made less than 30 days prior to wedding date will receive no refund
  5. There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items after payments.

SUBSTITUTIONS

1. We reserve the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers received are not of the quality suitable for your wedding. In this event, the integrity of the proposed color scheme will be maintained and flowers of equivalent value will be used.

REMEDIES:

In the event Chic-Events Jamaica is unable to collect the required payments for any reason the following will apply:

  1. Day 1-15: All coordination efforts will cease·
  2. Day 16: All location and sub-contractor reservations made on behalf of the wedding couple will be canceled.

AMENDMENT:

This Agreement may be modified or amended if the amendment is made in writing and is signed by both parties.

RENTAL:

All rentals require an additional refundable security deposit (Items rented not part of a package such as glassware, linens, chairs, etc.). This deposit is not included in your total. All rentals are to be returned by 10:00 a.m. the next business day or an additional day(s) rental will be charged. Security deposit will be refunded upon return of equipment on time and in good condition.

SEVERABILITY:

If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If a court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.

REMARKS

  1. The requirements and time limit for each nationality are different; therefore it is important for us to inform you about the procedures in both nationalities.
  2. The wedding program can be postponed due to unpredictable causes such as natural disasters, but we will immediately inform you and work assiduously to book you for a different location or date.
  3. It is understood that any and all rights to the images taken by Chic-Events Jamaica, final or unedited, thereof shall remain the property of Chic-Events Jamaica and may be used for advertising, display or any other purpose thought proper by Chic-Events Jamaica.
  4. The images purchased by the client(s) will be copyright free and may be used however the client(s) sees fit.
  5. Chic-Events have to right to use or post photos of all weddings that they worked on for marketing or presentation to sell our products and services

AMENDMENT:

This Agreement may be modified or amended if the amendment is made in writing and is signed by both parties.
