The following terms and conditions (the T&Cs) apply to any Chic events Jamaica gift eCard or code issued by www.chic-eventsja.com in association with its gift eCard program (Chic Events Jamaica gift eCards and codes are referred to as the eCard in these T&Cs).
By accepting and retaining the eCard, or using the eCard, you agree to these T&Cs. We reserve the right to change these T&Cs as well as the Chic Events Jamaica gift eCard program itself at any time without notice, except where required by law. The eCard and associated offers, if any, are void where prohibited by law. The terms you and your mean the person who accepts & uses the eCard to make purchases from Chic Events Jamaica. The terms we, our, and us refer to Chic Events Jamaica, the issuer of the eCard. Please keep a copy of these T&Cs for your records.
Your right to use the funds on the eCard is subject to these T&Cs and applicable law.
The eCard may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible services through the website url identified on the eCard (also referred to in these T&Cs as the Website). The amount available on the eCard will be reduced by the amount of any purchase. Use of the eCard is limited to the amount of funds on the eCard. You may use no more than one eCard per event. The full amount of each purchase, including taxes, will be deducted from the balance of funds on the eCard, up to the total available balance.
You cannot increase the funds on the eCard or otherwise reload the eCard. The eCard may not be used to purchase other Chic Events Jamaica gift eCards.
Resale of the eCard or use for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes or other promotional purposes is strictly prohibited.
You may obtain further information regarding the eCard or the products and services available for purchase with the eCard by emailing Chic Events Jamaica’s customer service representatives at sales@chic-eventsja.com or call 1-646-657-3551. From time to time, we may monitor telephone calls between you and us to ensure the quality of customer service.
We reserve the right to correct the balance of your eCard if we believe that a clerical, accounting or billing error has occurred. If you have questions about your transaction history or any correction, or if you dispute any transaction or correction, please contact Chic Events Jamaica customer service representatives at sales@chic-eventsja.com or call 1-646-657-3551. We shall have no liability for any billing error unless you provide us notice within 60 days of the transaction in question.
The eCard expires three (3) weeks before the date of the event and we do not assess any service fees for non-use.
You agree to use the eCard only for legitimate purchases through the Website and not for any other purpose. You may not return merchandise or cancel services obtained with the eCard for a cash refund. The eCard is not returnable or exchangeable for cash, except where required by law. Please make reference to your signed contract with Chic Events Jamaica for further information on returns/cancellations.
If your desired purchase amount is greater than the available balance on the eCard, supplemental payment may be made using any credit or debit eCard accepted by Chic Events Jamaica. Except for such credit or debit eCards, the eCard will not be accepted by Chic Events Jamaica in combination with any other form of payment.
At this time, Chic Events Jamaica will only accept one (1) eCard per purchase.
If we suspect misuse of the eCard or that it was obtained through fraudulent or unauthorized means, the eCard may be suspended or terminated.
As part of providing you with the eCard and your use of the eCard, we may obtain personal information about you which we will use in accordance with the Chic Events Jamaica’s privacy policy found at the www.chic-eventsja.com website or available by calling Chic Events Jamaica´s customer service representatives at sales@chic-eventsja.com or call 1-646-657-3551. CHIC EVENTS JAMAICA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE , INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT THE eCard IS “NON-FUNCTIONAL”, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THE eCard, LOADED WITH THE LAST BALANCE HELD ON THE eCard. IN THE EVENT THAT CHIC EVENTS JAMAICA IS FOUND LIABLE TO YOU, YOU SHALL ONLY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER ACTUAL AND DIRECT DAMAGES AND SUCH DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LAST BALANCE HELD ON THE eCard.
We may assign all or part of these T&Cs without such assignment being considered a change to the T&Cs, and without notice to you. We are then released from all liability. The assignee shall have the same rights and obligations as the assignor and shall agree in writing to be bound by these T&Cs.
